The Chicago Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is dedicated to making a lasting impact on mental health awareness within the African-American community. With a focus on addressing the stigma surrounding mental health, their initiative, Links2Hope, seeks to increase awareness, provide resources, and foster collaboration in a way that empowers individuals and families.

Links2Hope shines a light on the challenges faced by African-Americans due to social and environmental stressors, including structural racism, trauma, and violence. The program’s mission is to create open dialogues about mental wellness, educate the community on coping strategies, and build resilience across all ages.

This initiative brings people together to break down barriers to mental health care, create a safe space for discussion, and work toward reducing stigma. Whether you're looking to learn more about mental wellness or actively contribute to supporting this mission, attending one of our sessions can be a meaningful way to engage with the community and help drive positive change.

Join us in creating a more resilient, supportive, and understanding community for all.

We champion mental health through our service

 National Facets

The Links, Incorporated has a proud tradition of promoting educational, civic, and intercultural activities that enrich the lives of the Black community. Central to our mission are our five program facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. These facets guide our efforts as we design and execute programs and initiatives that address the most pressing needs of underserved communities. Each year, through our facets, we make a meaningful impact on the lives of over 3 million people, both in the U.S. and around the world.
